Olympus FE-120 December 20, 2006 S. Beardsley (Arizona) This camera takes great photos. I had returned the camera because the XD-picture card would catch on something in the rear of the slot whenever I would insert or remove having errors and would not display. These errors ruined all the photos I had taken of the birth of our granddaughter which was very upsetting!! The catching caused scratches on the card. Customer Service checked it out and agreed something was wrong but I was only able to exchange for the same camera (Otherwise I would have chose another brand). I contacted Olympus before I returned it but never received a reponse back when asked if anyone else had this problem with inserting XD cards with this camera. No response so, returned it. This second camera does okay. Still takes great photos but now seems to be catching as well AND sometimes the flash goes off similiar to when a lightbulb burns out suddenly...leaving a dark edge on the left edge of my photos! I will be returning this again as I am wondering if there is a "short" so to speak! Previous to purchasing Olympus FE-120 I owned a Canon but the Olympus photo quality I feel is better than what I received with my Canon...this is why I switched to Olympus. So I WILL be replacing my camera to another brand!

Would not accept larger chip. . . upon re-inserting OE chip, it would not accept that chip. . . kept ejecting chip and could not close door. Camera was returned to mfgr and was replaced with another model.

A Great Camera January 16, 2006 Keisha Reid (BARBADOS) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
At first I was a bit sceptical because everyone was saying to get other brands but they were too pricey. So with my budget I bought this camera as a gift for my boyfriend and the truth is the picture quality has totally blown me away. The level of detail that we get from this 6 mega pixel beauty is incredible. It has over 19 modes and even if that is too much trouble and you want to use AUTO that works pretty well. It has plenty of features for the price. As for the previous comment about the software, well I am not too sure what he found confusing about it but I found it pretty easy to use. All in all I am very happy that I bought it since my boyfriend absolutely adores his new toy. We even get out more so that he can take pictures all over the island.
Great price but I'm disappointed December 21, 2005 L. Clifford (Walnut Creek, CA) 5 out of 14 found this review helpful
I was thrilled with the price and had heard rave reviews from the photo person at Longs but my results were not very good. The pictures I took in the Macro mode were blurry. I also found the software part totally confusing. My Canon camera was super easy to get onto the computer and edit easily, but I could not figure this one out. Perhaps if you are well versed in Olympus products it will work well for you.
