Nice overall good camera May 9, 2008 Brian J. Spencer (West Haven, UT) This is a pretty good camera in all aspects except one. Indoor/Low Light pictures are not very clear. Most I've taken are blurry/fussy. Other than that, it is an OK camera.
There have to be better cameras out there April 17, 2008 Oooh chimpanzee that I had this camera a few years and used it sparingly. The rechargebale batteries that came with never keep a charge, so I started buying batteries. They did nto last long in this camera either. then, fo rno reason whatsoever, I get an error Camera Error #B03....see user's guide. After doing some research, this code pretty much means the camera is done. No fix for it as far as I know. I would definitely look for other cameras before buying this one. Also, I never did quite realize how much of a pain carrying around a bulky camera is. It is very bulky.
This camera keeps on ticking February 20, 2007 Cham Green (Merryland) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I've owned my CX6445 for over a year. No camera should ever be treated as brutally as I have treated this poor camera. I've dropped it several times and it has gotten wet. I've taken it on no less than 50 hikes where it has wallowed in the bottom of a heavy pack, it has gone to the beach, I've taken it tubing, bike riding, you name it. I am also no photographer, yet this camera takes excellent pictures. The camera should have been broken long ago, but other than the little plastic shutter thing in front of the lens (where it probably has a grain of sand) the camera is in perfect working order. I've taken night pictures, high resolution pictures, landscapes, close-ups, time delay and I've used the zoom feature extensively. The video works very well considering this is not a video camera. I had a question once and called Kodak customer service where they were very kind and were able to give me a quick and positive response. Almost every picture and video on my blog has been taken with this camera so go there if you want to see some examples, blog is linked in my profile. The cost of this camera was money well spent.
I love this camera!! July 6, 2005 K. Aranda (Las Vegas) I have had my cx4200 for about three years and it was finally malfunctioning on me. I bought this camera on a whim. I took it out on the fourth of july and all the pictures/video i took with this are incredible. it's 4 mp so every pic is crisp and the colors aren't saturated. the video blew me away! it plays back clear and smooth, though you can't tell what the sound is really like until you listen to it on your computer or tv. I have about ten great/cute videos of all the fireworks last night... You also get nice features with this, such as night shots, portraits, sports, close ups, landscape... this is a refreshing change to my old, SLOW, featureless camera.
